Motorola’s New 200 MP Camera Mobile

When it comes to announcing new smartphones with incredible photography specifications, Motorola has been on top of the technology radar. The Motorola Razr 2022, the company’s flagship foldable, was unveiled last week at a massive Motorola event in China, along with the mid-range Moto S30 Pro and the widely anticipated Moto X30 Pro, the first smartphone in the world to include a 200MP camera.

The phone is equipped with Samsung’s HP1 200MP sensor, which was introduced in 2017. It can decide to use each of the 200MP’s 0.64-micron pixels individually. Additionally, it uses Samsung’s Chameleon Cell pixel-binning technology to combine four or sixteen smaller pixels into one larger pixel. The Isocell HP1 is basically transformed into a 50MP sensor with 1.28-micron pixels or a 12.5MP sensor with 2.56-micron pixels by these two setups.

The Motorola X30 Pro also features a 6.7-inch 144Hz refresh rate display, a 125W fast charger that is the quickest on any Moto phone to date, 50W wireless charging, and a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 CPU. According to Motorola, the X30 Pro can reach 50% charge in just seven minutes because of the new cable charging standard.

What is the expected price of the Motorola X30 Pro?

In terms of price, the Moto X30 Pro’s base model will sell for $550 (3,700 Yen) in China. The most costly selection will set you back $670. It is currently up for pre-order. The phone also launched in India just a few days back, with a price point of Rs. 51,999. Hence, the pricing is expected to be standard in most countries.
