Windows 11’s differences from Windows 10

Windows 11 is a significant design shift that aims to simplify the user experience and reduce clutter. Many elements are influenced by Windows 10X, the defunct Windows 10 spin-off designed for touchscreen devices. Microsoft appears to be working hard to make Windows 11 a great operating system for a wide range of devices and form factors.

Windows 11 is also available for all eligible laptops and PCs, either through Settings or by downloading it manually. Aside from a Mac or Chromebook, nearly every other 2022 laptop runs Windows 11, so there are already a lot of options. Despite its simple design, Windows 11 contains a plethora of different elements, many of which are worth exploring in greater depth.

Microsoft as the leading desktop OS

It’s been more than six years since the last major release of Windows, and a lot has changed in the operating system space since then. Microsoft is back with a vengeance to create a modern version of the Windows user experience that is simple to use, beautifully designed, and well-connected, all in an effort to increase your productivity in professional or creative workflows.

In a world where more and more people are returning to using PCs in their daily lives, Microsoft decided it was critical to release a new operating system designed for a generation who sees the world through small screens every day. Even in the economic sector, Microsoft’s business model is one in which they attempt to meet the needs of multiple, competing OEMs and customers. This makes them more technically vulnerable, if only because they cannot maintain the more secure platform of leading companies like Apple, but it also allows them to meet the needs of a much larger customer base.
