This Veteran’s Day, Friday, November 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bonnet House Museum & Gardens is offering free art and culture to veterans. Veterans can travel back in time and experience life as it was in the 1930s and 1940s for free with one full-paid self-guided tour admission of $25. Assists and counsels Palm Beach County residents who are former or present armed forces members. Assistance with preparing and filing claims for benefits to which they are entitled under federal, state, and local laws is one of the services provided. Dependents and survivors of current or former members of the Armed Forces may be eligible for this program’s services.
YMCA of South Florida’s Veterans Day Breakfast
The YMCA of South Florida and the City of Weston have partnered with local veterans. Will host the YMCA’s annual Veterans Day breakfast with community leaders to honour local veterans, featuring a presentation by Dan Cnossen, a former US Navy SEAL Lt. Commander, Harvard University graduate, and six-time Paralympic Medalist.
