On Monday, Indian smartphone manufacturer Lava announced the launch of its new budget smartphone, Blaze 2. The smartphone is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery, a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display, a dual 13MP AI camera, and a Unisoc T616 processor.
On the new Lava smartphone is a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display with 2.5D curved screen and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display panel is perforated and has a pixel density of 269 PPI. The device also supports Anonymous and Auto call recording.
It features a side-mounted biometric sensor integrated into the power button as well as face unlock compatibility. Lava Blaze 2 is powered by a Unisoc T616 Processor. The device has 6GB of RAM (which can be expanded by an additional 5GB of virtual RAM) and 128GB of UFS 2.2 ROM. The smartphone also supports microSD cards, allowing users to increase storage capacity by up to 1 terabyte.
The Lava Blaze 2 smartphone uses Android 12 according to the manufacturer. The device will be upgraded to Android 13 and will receive two years of security updates. The Lava Blaze 2 features a 5,000mAh battery and 18W accelerated charging. The device comes equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, GPS, and 4G connectivity.
The Lava Blaze 2 has a 13MP dual-camera setup on the rear and an 8MP camera for selfies and video conversations on the front. This smartphone’s camera features include beauty, HDR, night, portrait, panoramic, slow motion, and time-lapse.
The Lava Blaze 2 smartphone costs Rs 8,999 and is available in Glass Orange and Glass Blue. Beginning on April 18, the tablet will be available for purchase from online retailers. As with other Lava phones, the company offers “free personal service” for handsets still under warranty.
