‘Same toolbox at work…’ Concerns have been raised by users of Twitter over the timeliness of Jack Dorsey’s remarks on the Modi government.

Users of social media quickly catch upon the unusual timing of this attack when Jack Dorsey, the former CEO of Twitter, suddenly makes an appearance on a YouTube channel and begins making accusations against the Indian government.

Same toolbox at work

A little over two weeks have passed since Rahul Gandhi, the former leader of the Congress party and a member of parliament for the Indian state of Wayanad, launched a major counterattack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, his government, and the BJP-RSS from the United States. As a result, when former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey made an unannounced appearance on a YouTube channel and began making accusations against the Indian government, users of social media were eager to point out the bizarre timing of the attack.

On Twitter, a number of users expressed their thoughts and reactions to the comments made by Jack Dorsey. The co-founder of Twitter claimed that the business had received “many requests” from Indian authorities to remove accounts that covered protests by farmers and accounts that were critical of the government. He went on to add that the Indian government exerted pressure on the platform during the time of the farmer protests, threatening that it would be shut down and that raids would be done at the residences of Twitter employees if the company did not comply with their demands.

As the video of Dorsey’s words went viral on social media platforms, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar called out the former Twitter CEO and dismissed his assertions regarding the farmers’ strike. In the meantime, individuals on social media attempted to make a connection between these words and Rahul Gandhi’s purported covert meetings in the United States.
