Air India has updated their foreign flight menus, so be sure to take a look!

The updated menus reflect input from previous guests and aim to provide an array of gourmet main courses, fashionable appetisers, and delicious desserts to visitors, all while showcasing the regionally inspired cuisine that has become so popular in India.

The Indian airline Air India has updated their in-flight dining service for all international flights.

According to a press release from the airline, “the refresh of the menus is based on guest feedback and is designed to offer travellers a variety of gourmet meals, trendy appetisers, decadent desserts, and showcase India’s locally sourced culinary influence while keeping with the healthy eating trend.”

New additions to the bar menu include champagne from Laurent-La Perrier’s Cuvée Brut, wines from the northern Italian region of Piedmont, the Bordeaux varieties Château de l’Hestrange, Les Oliviers, and Chateau Milon, and more.

The new beverages menu features an assortment of premium whiskies, gins, vodkas, and beers, per the press release.

The new menus, according to Air India’s Head of Inflight Services Sandeep Verma, were designed with sustainability and healthy eating in mind.

Moreover, Air India has stated that certain of its flights to the United States will have premium economy seating. The product launch date is set for May 15th.

The first routes to offer economy seating are Bengaluru to San Francisco, Mumbai to San Francisco, and Mumbai to New York.
