Is Shiba Inu available on Robinhood?

Shiba Inu token (SHIB) is a decentralised cryptocurrency established by an anonymous person or persons known only as “Ryoshi” in August 2020.

The cryptocurrency meme Shiba Inu prices have risen nearly 900 percent in the last month.

The cryptocurrency meme Shiba Inu’s price has soared about 900 percent in the last month, making it the world’s third most googled cryptocurrency of the year.

Because of its sudden popularity, many crypto enthusiasts are wondering if Shiba Inu is available on Robinhood Markets.

Shiba Inu is now unavailable for trading on Robinhood HOOD, but this may change soon.

SHIB has already gathered over 458,000 signatures on a Change.org petition to get it on Robinhood. “This petition is aimed to gently request of Robinhood to please list Shiba Inu coin to trade,” the petition’s first sentence states.

At the very least, Robinhood looks to be receptive to the concept of introducing new currency to its platforms.

“We feel very very good about the coins that we’re currently listing on our platform,” Robinhood CEO Vladamir Tenev said during the company’s third-quarter earnings call last week. ” Any new coins that we add, we want to feel equally, if not more good about,” he added.

Bitcoin BTCUSD, ether ETHUSD, bitcoin SV BTCSVC, bitcoin cash BCHUSD, dogecoin DOGEUSD, litecoin LTCUSD, and ethereum classic ETCUSD are the seven cryptocurrencies currently listed on Robinhood’s platform.

Robinhood just unveiled a number of new features, including crypto wallets and the ability to set up periodic cryptocurrency purchases.

According to CoinMarketCap.com, SHIB was trading at $0.0000719 on Monday, surpassing fellow dog cryptocurrency dogecoin in market cap.

Crypto exchanges that sell Shiba Inu include Crypto.com and Coinbase COIN, among others.

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, also offered it, but crypto withdrawals were momentarily halted on Monday due to backlog worries.
