It has been said about him that “the sky is not the limit.” Neil deGrasse Tyson meets PM Modi in New York

Neil deGrasse Tyson, a renowned astrophysicist, lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his commitment to use science and technology to address the issues that face modern society. Tyson expressed his joy at learning about the future space programmes that the Prime Minister is planning to implement and stated his eagerness to learn more.

PM Modi

‘Sky is not the limit for Prime Minister Modi…’ said renowned Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson after meeting with the latter, who is on a State visit to the United States and will be taking part in the celebrations for the International Day of Yoga at the headquarters of the United Nations in New York City on Wednesday. The visit is part of Prime Minister Modi’s official state visit to the United States. Following his conversation with the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, Tyson stated that he was “delighted to spend time in the company of a Head of State who is scientifically thoughtful.” There are a great number of world leaders whose objectives may not be in line with what they should be in the 21st century in light of all the problems that face society. Inventions in the fields of science and technology, engineering, and mathematics are going to be the source of the solutions. It is abundantly evident to me that the Prime Minister, Mr. Modi, is concerned about all of this.

It was obvious that he saved his conversations about space for that topic. However, it is obvious that the Prime Minister places a significant amount of importance on space. As a result, I was overjoyed to learn about the next programming that he has planned. When I say that there is virtually no ceiling on what India is capable of doing, I am confident that I am not speaking for myself alone when I say that. Therefore, I believe that India has a very promising future,” he continued.
