The Vande Bharat Express is a train that travels at a semi-high speed and operates independently. As part of the ‘Make in India’ initiative, this entire train was manufactured in the country of India. The train will be outfitted with eight chair car coaches, each of which will have a vehicle body made of stainless steel and luxurious seating accommodations.

On Tuesday (June 27), Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to ceremonially launch as many as five brand-new Vande Bharat Express trains. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) claims that this will be the first time that all five Vande Bharat trains will start operating on the same day.

According to the PMO, the five Vande Bharat trains are the Rani Kamalapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express, the Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express, the Madgaon (Goa)-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express, the Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express, and the Hatia-Patna Vande Bharat Express.

It has been reported that the Rani Kamalapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express will link the Mahakaushal Region of Madhya Pradesh (Jabalpur) to the Central Region of the state (Bhopal). Additionally, vacation destinations like as Bheraghat, Pachmarhi, and Satpura, amongst others, would reap the benefits of better connectivity. When compared to the currently quickest train that travels this route, the new train will be around thirty minutes faster.

Connectivity between Malwa Region (Indore) and Bundelkhand Region (Khajuraho) and Central Region (Bhopal) would be improved by the “Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express.” According to the PMO, this will be to the advantage of significant tourist destinations such as Mahakaleshwar, Mandu, Maheshwar, Khajuraho, and Panna.

Madgaon (Goa)-Mumbai The upcoming Vande Bharat Express in Goa would be the first of its kind in the state. The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai and the Madgaon station in Goa will be connected by this train service. When compared to the present fastest train that connects the two locations, the travel time will be reduced by approximately one hour as a result of this improvement.

The PMO further noted that the Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will connect important cities in the state of Karnataka, such as Hubballi and Davangere, with the capital city of Bengaluru. It will be of considerable assistance to tourists, students, merchants, and other people in the region.

It would be a first for both Jharkhand and Bihar for the Hatia-Patna Vande Bharat Express to run. By enhancing connections between Patna and Ranchi via train, a variety of people, including tourists, students, and entrepreneurs, will reap benefits. “When compared to the current fastest train that connects the two locations, it will help save about one hour and twenty-five minutes of journey time,” the report continued. “It will help save about one hour of journey time.”

The total number of Vande Bharat trains that are currently operating on the rail network of the country would increase to 23 after the introduction of these new trains.
