Scroll down to see the colors that will make you seem instantly on-trend this season, from Proenza Schouler’s take on orange to the shades of green found everywhere from Rejina Pyo to Valentino.

  1. Kelly green and tangy lime – Green is gonna be the most prevalent color this year!

Although muted sage green was one of the most popular colors in 2021, this brilliant lime green for Spring/Summer 2022 brings a lot of excitement. Cinq A Sept, Prabal Gurung, and Christian Siriano all had satin little dresses, pilgrim-chic midis, and tea-length gowns with matching headwear on the runway. Let the limeade color shine by pairing it with black or white footwear that doesn’t compete.

Green is a color that is unlike any other. This color ruled the runways, especially at London Fashion Week, when Supriya Lele and Yuhan Wang wore it. You won’t have to wait till Christmas anymore to put on your best green dress!

  1. Barbie Pink

Remember your favorite pink gown you always went back to while playing with your doll? Yes, you can wear that color now as well to look the trendiest of all. Barbie bubblegum pink is one of the 5 trendiest colors of 2022 and is our favorite – it’s too cute to ignore. Thanks to Y2K Fashion that brought back our favorite pink on trend.

Pink is a color that has stood the test of time, although this year’s trend is for bubblegum brights. Anything that would look good in your Barbie’s closet will work.

  1. Primary Blue

Kelly Green is the color of the moment, but royal blue, a rich hue, will overtake it in a couple of months. Although powder blue was the color of the year in 2021, primary blue has made it into the 5 trending colors for 2022. In their Spring/Summer 2022 collections, Lacoste and Loewe explored the primary color, while Vetements went all out for their Fall/Winter 2022 collection. If you don’t want to go full-on Americana, be careful when mixing it with red and white.

This hue of blue is grounded and calming, reminding us of organic indigo dyes and the sea. The color is the most appropriate in the 5 trending colors for 2022 for both basics and activewear throughout the year. Wear it now while working from home and later with striking accessories for a picnic-ready look, such as pearl eyeglasses chains and stacked bracelets.

  1. Bright Orange

Forget about creamsicle hues, for Spring/Summer 2022, it’s all about finding the brightest orange you can find and wearing it head to toe. Proenza Schouler, Collina Strada, and Christian Siriano all presented monotone orange outfits on their runways, so you might be able to justify a pair of orange heels. Instead, you may take a page from Proenza’s book and add some edge with a blue handbag and classic black sandals.

  1. Radiant Yellow

This Spring/Summer 2022 fashion nicely captures the idea of a cheerful mood. Yellow is in this season, y’all! In 2021, a buttery, soft yellow was a stylish alternative to cream, but, the traditional, almost-neon sunny color will rule amongst the 5 trending colors for 2022. Jason Wu, Sergio Hudson, and Rodarte all put on a show, with Wu wearing an off-the-shoulder gown, Hudson sticking to his excellent suits, and Rodarte upping the ante with a beaded fringe skirt. This hue is certain to improve your mood no matter how you wear it.

These are our predictions for the 5 trending colors for 2022. Spring 2022 will bring in some of the most dreamy, wearable hues ever. We can’t wait to style it with the iconic fashion trends of 2022 and pick a favorite. These colors were so prevalent on the runways from New York to Paris that we didn’t even have to think about choosing the 5 trending colors for 2022.
